Top Twitter Profiles to Follow for Marketing Advice

I sometimes use affiliate links in content. This doesn’t cost you anything but I may make a commission payment from anything you buy through these links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. All opinions remain my own.

Twitter is making a bit of a comeback at the moment. With Instagram deciding it doesn’t like photos and Pinterest deciding it doesn’t like much of anything, we are all looking for somewhere to connect with our audience.  But also to connect with the others in our niche and get the latest news.

I admit I’ve gone back to Twitter after a few years away and starting a new account (you can find me here @angela_tempest).  Part of setting up a new profile is finding the right people to follow so I thought I’d share some of the top Twitter profiles to follow for marketing and blogging to help.

Why you should follow top Twitter profiles in your niche?

There are a few reasons to follow the top profiles on Twitter for any niche.  The obvious one is that there’s a chance they might follow you back – and you never know, they may retweet or comment on something you post.  Instant potential viral exposure!

But on a more practical level, it is good to get the latest news, tips and to see what the top people in your niche are doing.  That applies to any niche and is especially true for marketing.

Finally, you can use the Twitter list feature to pop the accounts into lists and have a controlled feed of what specific people are saying.  For example, one approach I take with lists is to create one of people and another of companies that I follow.

So let’s get some ideas of how might go onto those lists.

Who are the top marketing profiles?

Let’s start by listing some of the top marketing profiles for people – we’ll go alphabetical to avoid placing anyone above or below anyone else!
